POP Marketing CIC

  1. Introduction

POP Marketing CIC is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards across all areas of employment. We uphold fair, safe, and inclusive working conditions for all employees, contractors, and suppliers. These policies reflect our obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, the Equality Act 2010, and other relevant UK legislation.

  1. Employment Principles

– Freely Chosen Employment: All employment at POP Marketing CIC is freely chosen. We do not tolerate forced, bonded, or involuntary labour.

– Child Labour Prohibition: We do not employ anyone under the age of 16 and fully comply with UK laws on young workers rights.

– Fair Wages: All staff are paid at or above the Real Living Wage, reviewed annually.

– Working Hours: Working hours comply with UK Working Time Regulations. Overtime is voluntary and paid fairly.

– Right to Representation: We respect the right of staff to join trade unions and engage in collective bargaining.

  1. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

– Non-Discrimination: We promote equal opportunities and do not tolerate discrimination of any kind.

– Inclusive Hiring: We encourage applications from underrepresented groups and provide adjustments during recruitment.

– Training and Development: All staff have access to development opportunities and ethical employment training.

  1. Health and Safety

We provide a safe, healthy workplace in line with UK health and safety law. A dedicated Health & Safety Officer ensures risk assessments and regular updates are in place.

  1. Supply Chain Responsibility

– Due Diligence: We review suppliers and partners to ensure ethical labour standards.

– Code of Conduct: All contractors and suppliers must sign and follow our Supplier Code of Conduct, including zero tolerance for modern slavery.

  1. Reporting and Compliance

– Whistleblowing Procedure: Staff can report unethical behaviour confidentially. Reports are promptly investigated.

– Monitoring: Compliance is reviewed annually by senior management. Breaches are addressed appropriately.

  1. Accountability

This policy is overseen by the Operations Director and reviewed by the board annually. It is shared with all staff on induction and is available publicly on request.
